“Unexpected treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

We assumed we would be eating basic Mexican food given location and inclusion of American food on menu. Menu was diverse and more expensive than traditional Mexican eateries, but food quality was worth every penny. Shrimp enchiladas, fajitas, and shredded beef burrito all good. Chips and salsa better than many. Flan very good.

“Looking forward to our next trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

We were staying at Eagle Crest, didn't want to eat there, and picked Diego's out of a local brochure. Busy place on a Sunday night, but we got a table for 4 pretty quickly. Lots of choices besides Mexican, so anyone should be able to find something they'd like. My brother raved about his Mexican chicken-fried steak for the next two weeks! My chicken & spinach salad was huge & delicious. Can't remember what the other two ate, but they liked it enough that they put the leftovers in our cooler for eating later on our trip. Chips and salsa were plentiful, too.

“Over Rated”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2014

Should not be listed as Mexican food, I don't know what you call this cuisine. Had an over priced ($25) shrimp entree that came with 4 over-cooked shrimp. Also, their chicken tacos came out with soggy tortillas that were inedible. The chicken was also over cooked. The restaurant is a hallway with a bunch of tables in a row. No decorations just a red wall and is very loud. Do not recommend this to anyone.

“Very Tasty!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2014

Diego's offered a varied menu and all that we ordered was very Tasty! We had a shrimp quesadilla that was loaded with shrimp and nicely seasoned. Their margaritas were tasty and the service friendly. They have a large outdoor patio in the back which was a great place to eat a summer meal.

“Nope”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014

Waaaay over rated. The menu is much too ambitious. They can't decide what kind of cuisine they specialize in. I feel like I'm sitting in a long, dark hallway. The patio is nice, but they don't allow dogs! I can never understand why they're always busy. The food is mediocre at best.
