“Impressive facility”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

Stayed one night in a King Suite. It was very elegant. Two televisions. Two sinks. Only one picture on the walls, though. We went to one of the three swimming pools and jacuzzi and sat outside in the sun. There are three golf courses here and horseback riding. We thought it was very well kept and very clean. Enjoyed the feel of the facility.

We stayed the night at the Eagle Crest Lodge. I have stayed in the time share condos several times, but never the hotel. I was a little worried about staying in a Holiday Inn Hotel. However, our stay was awesome, and definitely had a "lodge" feel rather than that of a hotel chain. We checked in and we're greeted by a lovely front desk person named KRISTI. She really made a great first impression for the hotel. She was super friendly, helpful and inviting. She is an absolute asset to their team! We tried to check-in early after a drive from Portland, but none of the rooms were clean yet ( it was several hours before check-in) We went and enjoyed the property while we waited for a room to be available. Kristi called us within 45 min to let me know that my daughter Lola and I could check in early ( she actually had made it a point to ask my daughters name earlier, and remembered it. ) We had a Queen room facing the 17th Tee. we loved being able to open the deck and look out over the greens. I would rec'd spending the extra money to get a "golf view" room. The room was VERY CLEAN, and had been updated recently. The hotel was quiet, and I never heard my neighbors in the room next door. The hotel has a pool and hotub, but they also have several other sports facilities on the property that also include pools and hottubs. I think there are 4 pools on the property. We drove a short 5 miles to the Lakeside Sports facility and enjoyed the pool there. Kristi at the front desk gave us a map, and wrote detailed instructions on how to make the short drive over. It was definitely worth the trip! There is a kiddie pool, and a water spray park, as well as an infinity pool and locker rooms. We also ate at the restaurant in the hotel. It was a little pricey but the service was great and kids eat free, which makes up for it. This was a great hotel for the price. I cant wait to make another trip out to eagle Crest.

Room Tip: The Golf view is worth the extra money. Visit the Lakeside Pool Facility

We only stayed one night because we were traveling through the area but would have loved to stay longer. This is a beautiful resort with many different amenities such as swimming, golf, horseback riding, etc. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds and was very quiet. It would be a great location for a reunion. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and the price was very reasonable compared to many other places we've stayed.

I am sure there are more exquisite hotels around Bend Oregon but the Lodge at Eagle Crest fit the bill just right with the unbeatable price tag. The resort is located 17 miles from scenic Sisters and 30+ mins drive to Bend, OR. For me it is perfect location. We drove westbound to find the hotel, three sisters tempted us with snow capped mountain view in not too far of a distance. Sage
bush covered grounds remind me a little bit of Grand Teton/Jackson Hole - as if magic of the past year returns.... Favorite part is sleeping with screened balcony door open, wake up with birds chirping, sunrise adorned sky, and gentling rolling golf course in your backyard.... A perfect place to unwind and take it all in slowing as the resort itself offers spa, walking trail, gym classes (such as Zumba dance) and a few steps walk from the main building you will see farm land and horses. Activities abound for your enjoyment. Special thoughts are put in our room with modern square edged sinks, twice the number of clothes hangers compare to an average hotel. The overall appointment is upscale. The first 2 nights, we booked directly with the hotel at about $147 per night all inclusive. We plan to go to Crater Lake after this but was not able to find satisfatory lodging within 1 hour of Crater Lake, we decided the night prior to crater lake to stay here again (2-2.5 hr drive to CL) and caught a deal on hotwire at $72 all inclusive. We were not asked to change room on the 3rd night. I have since discovered that this resort often runs specials below $70 (before tax). The location is Redmond, OR and star rating is 3.5 and I have seen or heard base rate from $59 to $62 to $70 at hotwire.com within a short 2 weeks. Compare to some top rated Bend area hotels (run above $250 with no discount), I would say this resort offers great settings at a very reasonable price. It is closer a lot closer to Sisters than Bend and Sisters happens to hold a sacred place in my heart, I am very pleased with this choice.

The drawback: the internet in the hotel room did not work well. It connected to the router but we had difficulty connecting to the internet in room for the first night at least (we are computer savvy). Besides, there is ONLY ONE computer in the entire building. It's in the lobby. There is NO business office with computer access. This seems unreasonable as often times I have seen people waiting in turns to access the computer for practical reasons. I think the hotel should definitely make improvement on this front.

Room Tip: If you prefer to wake up with sunrise overlooking the golf course than the parking lot, choose a room...

We stayed at the hotel at Eagle Crest and loved it! The hotel was bought and renovated and is awesome. We have also stayed in a 2-bedroom condo that was perfect for our needs. Very clean and had all the amenities. We like to go there in late June before the summer rush of people. It is quiet and peaceful there. Wildlife on the grounds and lots of area to walk, ride bikes, and relax. There is a family friendly pool with lots of fun to be had. My kids loved the fact that they could check out free equipment at the pool to play tennis, volleyball, etc. Lots to do - or do nothing but lay in the sun and read a book!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the golf course are worth it. 2nd floor gives better views and privacy.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Made reservations last week as everything else was booked in Sisters. We are Timeshare owners and have known about this place but have never stopped but glad we did. The staff here is very accommodating, the bed was extremely comfortable and the dinner last night featured one of the best prime rib dinners I've had. Last night we swam and used the hot tub after long day of hiking, it was great. FYI - we stayed at the lodge for a very reasonable price but you can also book a condo or a beautiful home to stay at as well if you desire a bit of an upgrade.

This is a all purpose resort...golf, biking, recreation center, children and youth activiities. We happened to catch it by accident on Hotwire for around $70 a night. Rooms great, views great, all is good. Many pools to swim, trails on the river to walk, and deer to view.
