First off, this place is not a resort. It has no resort amenities -- zero, zilch. Second, it's lacking in standard stuff such as housekeeping -- provided only on request, and part of the check out procedure was putting the towels in the wash and stripping the beds (!) -- and the WiFi is almost nonexistent, accessible only if you position yourself just-so near the ice cream place, and certainly not available in the house my family rented.
But the location is great for Crater Lake, as close as you're going to get unless you stay in the park's lodge, and the setting in the woods is very, very pleasant.
The house we rented (#13) was completely functional -- although the hot-water taps spat air every time you opened them -- but with a '70s look and feel, mostly charmless. It was clean however, and the beds were reasonably comfortable. For the amount of room, despite the blah decor and lack of amenities, the price was borderline.
Bottom line is that I doubt I'd stay in this place again. There are others I'd check out around Diamond Lake.More
