“Fine dining at an old inn”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

The ambience and food were very good, though dinner seemed to take a very long time, especially considering we were the only diners. We also had breakfast here the next morning which you make a reservation for when staying at the inn. Again, food was well cooked and presented but it was relaxed service.

“Overnighter at Prospect”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

We stayed here because it was a convenient overnighter for four when visiting Crater lake on a drive from Portland. The motel unit was basic, but comfy and warm, and met our requirements for cheap, sleep only, accommodation. The river and waterfalls within walking distance were fantastic

“Comfortable”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We only stayed one night but it was comfortable. We stayed in a room in the back, not in the main house. The dining room is nice, staff is friendly, food is good. I loved the front porch of the house, it made it feel like home.

“Pleasant Surprise”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

My wife and I just spent a week visiting Crater Lake NP. We stayed at a loca RV site in Prospect and went to dinner at the Prospect Hotel. It really is the only place to eat in town or for 25 miles in either direction. What a pleasant surprise. This is an excellent restaurant in an old historic hotel. The dinning room is right out of the 1800's. The food was fantastic. One of the park hosts recommended the prime rib. It was prepared to perfection and melted in your mouth. Wait service was great, there when you wanted but otherwise left you alone. Don't pass this one up.

“Worth it”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

The ambiance was low lighting and pretty pink. Crystal diplayed on antique buffets in the corner. The food was delicious and the prices were in line with what you would expect at a dinnerhouse.
