pick up a courtesy car at the Prineville AP and go to the nice quite town of prineville. The Econo Lodge is down town near everything you need. For the price it was real good, and clean, friendly.
I will stay the next time I can't make it over the Cascades or just a nice place to visit and the FBO At Prineville was more than helpfull. good deal!!

If you're looking for a quick pit stop, and not looking for a host of amenities, this is the place to stay. The room was clean, the check in WITH special requests, was smooth and effortless. The hotel might frighten some travelers; there is no green, rambling welcome path, and forget the balcony. However, the inside of the hotel is secure, tidy, and mostly comfortable.

The room we stayed in looked directly at the lounge and restaurant, but there was no noise at all. The beds were OK for one night, but certainly not dreamy. The microwave, refrigerator, and television were in great shape and all worked properly. There were a number of lights in the room, which was good because the one in the corner did not work. It could have been the outlet, which was also out. The beds and linens were very clean, but the pillows were a little thin. Make sure you request more if you like a lot of head support in bed.

The service was truly exceptional. We had the continental breakfast, and everything was well stocked. Although it only had juice, coffee, bagels and muffins, everything was fresh and tasted good. The woman at the counter was very friendly at check in, during breakfast, and upon check out. I am sure she she would have moved us to another room if we had complained about the light and switch, but it really wasn't a big deal to us. The same is true for the pillows. One thing that really impressed us about this hotel was the wi fi speed. In fact, we had two laptops roaring along with no bog downs or shut outs.

The shower was good, and never ran out of hot water. The pressure was good, and the fixtures were newer and worked properly too. Although the toiletries were very basic, the shampoo, conditioner, and soaps were pleasant and adequate.

All in all, this was a great place for us to pull over and spend a night. We took a brief stroll through the town at night, and it really impressive how clean and hospitable the public places also appeared to us. The bottom line is this is a great motel to count on for a clean place to sleep for the night and refresh. Within the two star category of hotels, this is definitely a four star place. Nothing fancy, just PLAIN nice.

Room Tip: Ask for a west facing room

I stayed for 4 nights (SMTW) with a couple friends and a pet in a double.
The staff was great and the manager herself went out of her way to help me find directions and was very accommodating in general.
The room itself was very tidy and clean and smelled fresh--very impressive for the rate. Splitting the bill with my friends, this was truly a great value.
I recommend it to anyone who visits Prineville!

Room Tip: Second floor is the best =) No footsteps from above--true for any two-story lodgings

Really nice owners! I was very pleased to see how clean and tidy my room was! Shower was great and after 5 days of desert motorcycle riding and camping this is important.

Room Tip: Stay on the East side as there is no noise from the bar

I've stayed there a few time over the past few years and find it to be a very good value. I noticed people mentioning the bar and can not speak to that since my room has always been on the other side of the building. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the rate is typically between 50 and 65 dollars if memory serves me right. This place is not the Ritz Carlton, but it provides an excellent nights rest for the price. Also, the staff is extremely pleasant so I rate it 5 stars for the market caters to. Also, there is a local subway, a 7-11, and a very nice park all within walking distance as well as any banking needs you might require.

Room Tip: Like i said...I always stay here and like it.

Having a bar right outside the window is not a good thing. People were very loud. I don't know what was going on upstairs in the middle of the night but I have never heard people ever walk so loudly. It went on and on. Doors slamming. Heat system was poor. Tub didn't drain well. The staff was nice and friendly.

Room Tip: If I ever had to stay here again, I would make sure I was on the upper level.

I apologize for your bed exprince.we have had complanet about noise from the bar in past. we are working to alleviate this problem. In regard to the stomping from above, on your next visit , we will provide you a room on the 2nd floor on the other side of the building, away from the bar.

The night we stayed, it was very cold out side. The only heat source was base board heaters. The room stayed very cold, the base boards could not provide enough heat. My family about left me and went somewhere else.. Also are room was right next to a bar that stay very loud till 2:30 am in the morning. The bar has an outside place to party and it was 50' from are room. We could not get a good night sleep due doors slamming, people yelling, and freezing in the room.. A waste of my money and time, beware..
