Large, open, great atmosphere, delicious coffee and bakery. Inside and outside seating. Really nice neighborhood spot.

At the foot of Mt Tabor, this location is spectacular in term of space. Castle style bar and isles, comfortable seating, great art. But how is the coffee? For being stumptown it is quite good but I feel that it is time to step up to some of the finer local roaster.

Came here for a triple americano-there was no crema on the top of the americano- they gave me the incorrect size-when I asked politely for the right size, they grabbed my cup and quickly poured hot water in it -making it look like light brown water. Such a bummer in a city with great coffee!

Awesome atmosphere....just how a coffee shop should look. In a little shabby corner shop it has all style. Enjoyed the espresso. Always hunting down the best coffee shops in america and found this place based on TA forum. Rosetta on top and well extracted. Places like these make Portland Oregon the best coffee town in the USA

Of course, one might expect to have great coffee in Portland but this exceeded my expectations. Without question the best cappuccino I've had in a really long time. In fact, these were so perfect that I had two a day during my visit to the City of Roses. Smooth, creamy froth and perfectly balanced espresso. Worth flying to Portland just to have the coffee!
