We had a clean, very nicely decorated room. The staff was efficient and friendly. A very pleasant place to stay. The rates were reasonable as well.

Close enough to the airport yet far enough so no airplane noise. Easy to fined off freeway. They furnished the ride to the airport. We used Park and fly with our small dump truck after seeing the Farwest show. Breakfast was nice, usual stuff-waffles,eggs, cereal, toast, juice and coffee in separate breakfast room. Nice pool and hot tub. Near to movies and restuarants. I like my large room. Very nice considering what I stay at the convention center every year.

Friendliest, most helpful, informative staff ever. They give great directions and/or print out maps to get you where you're going and even offer great suggestions on where to go, what to see. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The pool courtyard is beautiful and a divine place to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Conveniently located near the airport, it still manages to be an oasis from that hustle-bustle. Beyond expectations - highly recommend.

Clean, good-looking motel near the Portland Airport (although we weren't flying). Easy to get downtown either via Sandy Blvd. or on freeways. Room was clean and comfortable, although I'd recommend requesting a room on the pool side rather than facing Sandy Blvd. It can get a bit noisy especially on workdays when locals are commuting. Free breakfast is delicious! Make your own waffles (everybody doing this now?), French toast, very tasty biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, toast, muffins, Danish and more. You won't be hungry again until dinner...and maybe not even then! The desk staff was very friendly and courteous and solicited all feedback.

This is a conveniently located Best Western near the airport. I have stayed here a couple of times and am always pleased. The pool and grounds are well kept and for the most part, the staff is very friendly.
The only negative, during my most recent stay, one of the Front Desk clerks, Alice, was very rude. It appeared she was training someone (who was very friendly and helpful) but she was very snappish and rude. I walked away feeling as if I had done something wrong, rather than just trying to check in.
I have never had a problem here before and must assume this person was having a bad morning.
Another nice feature of this place is its airport shuttle and vicinity to MAX. I don't know if I'd go walking around the neighborhood after dark, but during the day time it seems very safe.
