One of the best food cart pods in Portland (and there are many!). The selection is out of this world and the choices are fantastic. Delicious every one!! (Yes, I've tried most of them). My favorite, however, is the dessert cart that serves all vegan and gluten free choices. They are divine and a 'special foods' customer can eat with confidence and be in culinary heaven at the same time!!!!

You can't go wrong, so just go here to eat, drink, and appreciate how cool this space is. See the pink flamingos, taste the amazing and healthy flavors, all without going broke! This was our favorite place to go on our first visit to Portland. We feel lucky to have found it .

Although it's listed on TA as a "Restaurant", Tidbit is more of a culinary adventure packed neatly into a cozy block in inner SouthEast; it's about TWENTY different restaurants in one! Opened in late 2014 on a formerly vacant lot along a busy and booming stretch of SE Division (@ SE 28th), Tidbit is among the best of the cart pods in all of Portland.

We've been at least five times now and have tried a different cart each time. From Japaneses ramen and Hawaiian kalua pork to Dutch waffles to sloppy burgers, sausages and wood-fired pizzas --- this pod has it all. Great cuisine choices all around (where else can you try Belizean food right next to Scandinavian, Thai & Indian?!?!?) and a wonderful gravel-covered courtyard with split-timber benches and a fire pit plus plenty of picnic tables (under cover or in the open - it's an all-weather place).

Family-friendly, kid-friendly, easy on the wallet. Most places prefer cash (there's an ATM on site) and there's more than just food! Lodekka (a second-hand clothing store in a refurbished doubledecker bus), Menagerie (jewelry) and Dragonfly Monet (flowers) are examples. There's also a seasonal produce stand (Parsons Farms) and a cart called "Scout" that sells beer/cider to the over-21 crowd. My personal favorite: the house-made sodas at Pyro's Wicked Sandwiches - seasonal flavors like cucumber lime, classics like root beer and natural cola and cherry phosphate - try them all or mix your own. $2 for a cup then $0.50 refills all night!

Enough outta me - just go and enjoy! Highly recommended!

Beautifully curated collection of food carts, shops and drinks here - bike in or park on a side street and walk around before you order to see the full array of options!

A nice covered eating area plus bathrooms puts this pod above the rest, not to mention waffles, Scandinavian, Hawaaiin, Belizean, and Phillippine options - really starts hopping around dinner, so don't expect much to be open before noon except coffee spots...We had a pineapple fried rice that was enough for 2 and ADDICTIVE - I'm dreaming of my next visit!

Most places take cards, but you might want to have a few bucks in your jeans just in case.

This is a new "pod" of food carts that recently opened in Portland, Oregon and the quality is far above those you normally find. Gourmet cuisine to satisfy foodies, and a welcoming atmosphere with relaxing seating at tables under sun shades, and decorative night-lighting. This is a food-cart destination for travelers and locals alike!

I had the Mezza Plate from Aybla Grill, which specializes in Mediterranean fare. Honestly, the cook served up the best falafel I have ever had, made fresh right there on the spot! My friends had the Salmon Wrap from Ingrid's Scandanavian Food, and the Sunrise Waffle Sandwich from Smaaken Waffles. Everything was delicious, and if you go at night expect it to be packed!
