“BBQ Cart-Style at it's most delicious!”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

Went looking for lunch. Happened upon Cartlandia, in Portland, Oregon. It is a variety of food carts situated along 82nd Drive, on a lot by the Springwater Trail. We weren't sure what we wanted to eat, until the sweet smoky fragrance of barbeque wafted past us. We followed our noses to find a sweet little gem of a food cart nestled near the fence. We checked out the menu - just a few items, but less is definitely more in this case! Our order took about 6 minutes and was well worth every second. The ribs were first-rate, and they offer what is called a Parfait: baked beans, then bbq pulled pork, then grilled sausage, and topped with creamy coleslaw. Sounds weird, tastes awesome! Our new fav place to nosh the Q!

“Little Taste Lots of Fat”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

My wife ordered a brisket sandwich from the Smokin' Rome's cart in Cartlandia. She opened it up to find lots of fat, which she removed. It was about 1/3 fat of the total. After removing that, with lots of bbq sauce, it tasted kind of bland. It was a nice texture, but for $9.00, with no other added things like chips, you would expect a little more. When done, we took the pile of fat back to Rome's to show them, and were thanked for letting them know, but no apologies or offer to compensate in any fashion were given. There were othefr two people who ordered ribs, and they said they enjoyed those when we asked.
