We caught a tour here and we're glad we did. They offer mill tours at 10:00 or 11:30 weekdays; have special parking for guest in front, and with a bright, clean viewing area, put on a very good tour. We were impressed with their staff, facilities, and capabilities, as well as the many products. And we got to meet Bob! Afterward we went to their restaurant/store for a delicious lunch.

We were driving through Portland, Oregon in the late morning and just happened to see the sign for Bob's Red Mill. We didn't know anything about the place but we stopped for breakfast. The mill is next to the restaurant and store and they give tours. You order food at the counter and they bring it to your table. The breakfasts we ordered were good and the dining room is pleasant. After breakfast we wandered around the store looking at all of the products produced in the mill. We even bought a cookbook with recipes using their corn meal, flour etc. You can order their products online or look for them in your local supermarket.

We stopped here for breakfast and were so glad we did. You walk through their store area and peek at their pastries and other sweets. Beyond here is the station where you place your order. You then take your number and go find a table. They bring your food to you. My husband and older son had muesli with milk and yogurt. My younger son had French toast. I had biscuits and gravy. It was delicious. We also enjoyed German apple cake. I would have enjoyed coming back here for lunch but we had to move on.

Market and restaurant with variety of organic, vegan, gluten free and traditional foods and cooking and baking products. Always a delight. Try the oatmeal cranberry cookies.

Lunch on the patio under the willows is pleasant, just wish the highway was not so close with traffic noise.

Well behaved dogs welcome on the patio on hot days.

This was a fun pleasant building. Very peaceful. Nice surroundings. Love the water wheel in front. Wholesome food. Not too pricey. You can sit downstairs, upstairs or outside.
