Lovely little wine bar on Broadway. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Went here most days for a glass of wine or to pick up a bottle.

Okay so the service is quirky. Just lie the other reviews said, it's not a warm fuzzy place but we were there to enjoy each other, not the waitresses. We had really good wine flights on two evenings here. The small plates were good. Enjoyed olives, cherries, and Brie. We found the staff friendly but busy so it could be perceived as neglected. When we were nice to them they were nice to us. I'd go back without hesitation to enjoy some Pinot Noir tastings and some romantic time.

My friend and I were curious to visit a wine bar in Portland. By no means are we wine experts but enjoy it just the same. As soon as we walked in it felt foreboding. The server barely acknowledged us...we had to pick up a menu left on the bar by a previous customer. After a few minutes, without telling us anything about the wines or the menu, she condescendingly asked "have you figured something out, ladies? Any questions we did ask were shortly and generically addressed. The server wasn't helpful at all. She was snobby to us but when someone else she knew walked in, or if they were over the age of 40, she was all of a sudden Mrs. Personality. She checked our IDs, which told her we are from VA, and she still made no attempt to make us feel welcome or offer any guidance about the wine. My friend and I look younger than our age but are 27 and 29. We were treated like 13 yr olds. We were wearing jeans and t-shirts. We were not loud or immature. We are both nurses and deal with all types of people under very stressful circumstances and for us to feel uncomfortable like that says a lot. The wine was good but tainted by the poor service.

This small wine tasting bar was an instant favorite on a recent visit to Portland. Very comfortable with 30+ wines "on-tap". Denee provided excellent service and excellent advice and descriptions of the many Oregon wines in this bar/store. When visiting downtown Portland, a definite place to stop and refresh.

They seemed offended when they realized there would be more than three of us in our group. They were rude about pretty much everything. Decent wine is not worth the horrible rude service.
