The Oregon Convention Center is fairly well laid out, with multiple ceiling-mounted sculptures distinctive to the different areas of the complex (which can serve as indoor landmarks), but what would have been really helpful would have been a better map. The map I received from the Info booth employee, regrettably, had no mention of which floor was which in the dual diagram, and was difficult to parse in other ways as well. (The employee admitted as much, and I'm sure the info booth employee suffers more than convention-going guests, since that employee has no good map to give out and suffers the fall-out every day.)
I did appreciate the water-saving toilets in the always clean restrooms that I used all week, plus the generous number of water fountains for filling and re-re-filling my reusable water bottle.
The facility was clean, spacious and located well (right on the MAX train line), so over all, just fine. I eventually learned my way around just through practice.
Bottom line: good location, good on the water use/provisions, bad on the map and signage inside the building
