The island is wonderful - great produce markets, nice beaches, good birding areas, some of which are remarkable during the fly-over and in the winter, and a really nice place to bike or take a walk. Parking can be difficult, and you need a permit, but it's worth the trouble. It's a beautiful, peaceful place to spend the day. But bring your own lunch or be prepared to eat what you buy at the produce market - there are no restaurants here.
