“Lovely Bridge”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

The loveliest bridge in Bridgetown (Portland). I cross it several times a week and never tire of the lovely views going both ways. The bridge was restored a few years ago and is beautiful. If you're in the area, take a side trip over and back just to admire human engineering intersecting with natural beauty. I wish it could all be like this. EXCEPT AT RUSH HOURS. The bridge was not built for the major commuting path it has become and is really frustrating to use at these times. If you see lines of vehicles backed up on Hwy. 30, just whiz on by.

“Most beautiful bridge in Portland”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

Having lived in St Johns for over a year now, I have grown to absolutely adore the St Johns bridge. It's majestic arches and high-flying buttresses give it a gothic appeal that is undeniable. My favorite aspect of the bridge is best seen driving away from St Johns towards Highway 30. The arches in the bridge create the illusion of a picture frame in which you can glimpse an ever-changing landscape as the car drives forward. Fun!

“Portland's Golden Gate bridge”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

It's a long bridge, but not very wide. It takes you high over the Willamette river, in northwest Portland. Take highway 30 going west toward Astoria, and you will come to it. It's located in a very scenic forested area of Portland.

“Beautiful bridge that reminds me of Batman”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

St. Johns Bridge is a beautiful piece of architecture from a bygone era. When I look at the top of the spires, it reminds me of Batman.
