I loved that you can go to the restaurant and look over the entire city! We had never been to Portland before and were lucky enough to visit this place our first night. It was super busy, but the staff found us a seat after a very brief wait. Our server was professional, but not stuffy and the service was phenomenal. The calamari was DELICIOUS! We wanted to go back and visit during the day and see what the city looked like from that vantage point in the light, but we never got a chance during our short stay. Next time! :)

Loved this restaurant. The view of the ity was superb and the ambient lighting was perfect. The happy hour food was good and the wine selection was grt too. I drank the house red blend and it was delicious. The restaurant is packed so u have to be savy to get a booth by the window.

Went there on Valentine's Day with two other single friends. We were lucky to have a table scout among us, who got there before we other two and who was seated at a progression of tables before finally landing a booth by the window. The booth was spacious, with a low table in between. Very comfortable, casual dining -- and out of the way of foot traffic, tucked in at the window, so we were undisturbed by anything. The view is fantastic. We could see across to outer east Portland. Happy Hour food was good, though not a lot of options for vegetarians like me. And can't comment on drinks (they looked good, too!) because I wasn't drinking. Next time!

I'm such a regular that I get a table no matter how crowded the place is. The food is not five-star, but satifies me just fine -- and I once was a restaurant reviewer. The view is five star. The bar on the usual nights is a jam-packed singles place. A first-class operation.

If you plan to go to Happy hour there will be a fine and a dash for the tables with the best views.
The happy hour food menu has a good variety and prices are high for the small portions you are served. The appetizer foods we ordered were all very good, we both felt they were just over priced. The table next to us seemed to be regulars as each member of their party ordered three appetizers each! We eventually ordered 4 total before we felt like we had enough food and that priced out at about $24 without our drinks.
The bar is currently under remodel so there was only one draft beer on tap, no chilled glasses.
One of us ordered a bottle of beer and the waitress had to be asked to bring a glass for it and then explained it was not chilled due to the remodel. So don't go until their "remodel" is over.
The piano music begins at 5 PM.
