Visited on Feb 23rd about 7pm and the restaurant was at near capacity. We waited about 15 minutes for a booth to seat six, once seated we were provided menu's and then we had about a ten minute wait for a drink order. those arrived in another 5-6 minutes, but our waiter was working about 5 or 6 booths on the upper deck of the restaurant so he didn't get back to us for food orders for another 8 minutes or so.
In the meantime a separate young lady was circulating with chips and salsa which she furnished. The first 3 chip containers were warm and fresh. While waiting for our food order to show up, she brough more chips and salsa, and one basket was horribly salty - like the whole thing had been dropped in a bag of salt. I asked for those to be taken away and replaced, which she did. The second basket was fine for the first dozen or so chips on the top, but when we got below those, the remaining chips were cold and rubbery. My first thought was they take the un-used chips baskets back to the serving station, put new chips on top and serve again! YUK !!! - not even legal !
Our orders were brought to us by another group of people working from the kitchen staff, and the food was hot and very good. We had ordered 4 margarita's and these were quite weak - definitely not worth the money. Our waiter came back twice during the meal to check on us. The staff seemed to be working hard, the kitchen is delivering good food, only the bar and the chips and salsa need to be looked at - they aren't measuring up and pulled down the over all experience.
