My friends and I love Karam and eat here monthly - for lunch & for dinner. Service is always friendly & prompt. The food is wonderful, portions are large and sharable. Watch Groupon for deals!

Being big fans of Lebanese and Syrian food we gave Karam a try. We liked the pleasant atmosphere which suggested a family run restaurant. Very nice staff and very friendly -- keen to serve. Overall, we would rate it above average but below very good.

Our ordering consisted of mezze and two meat plates. The baba ghanouj was lemony which we enjoyed with the tahineh not overpowering the flavours. The humous was smooth and creamy, perfect for the home baked khubz (pita). The chicken shawarma was tasty and moist, but the kibbeh saneeyah seemed too heavy and too salty. This could just be due to the burghul adding density.

The falafel was good -- not too heavy, not dried out -- suggesting cooked to order, but a bit too salty for my preference. The wariyneh (grape leaves) were tasty as was the cauliflower.

In general, the food was good and very satisfying. However for our preference, it was overall a tad too salty. Irrespective, it is a restaurant worth revisiting.

It serves food that is edible.
The falafel isn't as good as the Iraqi food cart downtown. The salmon had no taste to it at all.
The salad at the beginning of the meal was quite nice.

Took the family here on a Friday evening and was seated quickly. Ordered the combo platter which had a great selections of lamb and chicken and other delectable dishes (can't pronounce the names). The food came quick, was fresh and delicious . owners are very friendly and the price was cheap. Fed our family of 4 for under $30.

Used to eat here all the time but it seemed to lose its way just about the time they hooked up with Groupon. The food got real spotty quality-wise especially the meat. These recent reviews brought us back for another try. We missed them and their funky family run ways. You can't be in a rush when you go to Karam, or expect top-notch service. It's more like eating at your favorite aunt & uncles old dusty house, you love them and all their quirks. The mezza is a fantastic deal for a cozy date night. Order an extra portion of stuffed grape leaves for a mondo pig out and don't forget that baklava! Welcome back Karam.
