This place has it all -- great food, terrific atmosphere, friendly staff, and (on the night that we dined there) live music. The menu is small but there were enough choices to satisfy us. The
pasta was excellent. There is a modest wine list with fair prices. If you haven't been there, you will find this a real pearl in the Pearl.

Was highly recommended by gm of Nines hotel. Numerous creative pasta dishes best at the table was pommodoro. Simple basic antipasta plate was good. Atmosphere just like a local place youd find in Rome. Waiter charming and knowledgable. We found the menu strange. No fish, no poultry and only 2 sliced beef dishes prepared with different sauces and served only with some arugala. No vegetables on menu but cheerfully provided sauteed spinach at our request. Charged modest corkage fee for the bottle of amarone we brought. If you dont want pasta, best to go elsewhere.

If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience you won't be disappointed. A cozy eatery with outside dining as well, the food is deftly prepared: pasta perfectly cooked, rich and savory sauces, a nice inviting menu. I was trying to be "good" so I opted for the sea bass. Not so much a misstep on their part; however, I was unaware that it came intact. Certainly, not offended...nonetheless, it wasn't as much "fun" to eat with all the bones (my cousin was in the same boat). I appreciated that part of the authenticity as well, but next time I'd go with the delicious carbs.

Be sure to call for a reservation as the dining room is small. This is a gem hidden in the Pearl District. The prices are very reasonable and the food is fantastic. Try the Pappardelle Al Cinghiale. The pasta is homemade and the wild boar sauce is fantastic!

Great menu and interesting, rustic Italian decor. Family owned/run business who are soccer enthusiasts. Great meal with outside bistro seating.
