We went to Huber's for Thanksgiving this year since they are well known for their Turkey dinner. The food was great with one exception, I did not care for the stuffing which did not have much flavor and was like eating a moist bread ball. Overall a very good meal and the spanish coffee is made tableside with great flair. I would not recommend going again on a holiday since it is very loud and crowded. Next year we will cook at home. That being said, we have come to this restaurant for a small lunch in the past and enjoyed everything. I will visit again just not at a peak time.

I have been going to Huber's since the mid 70"s and I have never been disappointed. Whether you are going for a drink or for dinner it will not fail you. They are always busy but the staff has always been the best I have encountered. You would think that you are the only person they are waiting on they are so attentive.

And lets not forget the food. Whether you are having their famous turkey or another item off the menu it has been consistantly good all these years.

But don't even think about going there and not having a Spanish coffee prepared at your table. That would be the only thing bad about your experience.

This is a well-known local landmark restaurant in downtown Portland. They are known for serving hot, Spanish coffees right at your table. The waiters put on quite a show with the lighting of the alcohol and pouring.

We did not eat here but we did try their famous Spanish coffee. The making of this concoction is performance art. And, it is delicious AND potent. Yum.

Delicious full turkey dinner with all the trimmings. I loved the cranberry sauce. The gravy was perfect. It was very satisfying. The coolest part of the the dinner was the Spanish coffee finish! The server, who apparently has done it a few times, really puts on a show! loved it! It was strong in both alcohol and rich coffee - He does catch it on fire after all. The restaurants is one of the oldest established eateries in Portland. Warm and inviting, but the tables are a bit crowded. I would go again and bring guest.
