“Don't expect good service if you come alone!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

I like this restaurant when the hostess sat everyone in from of me because I was only 1 person. She sat 3 people in 2 small tables and they were farther down the list than me. The right thing to do would be to seat people in the order they arrive! Then she asked if I wanted to sit with other people at there table, how rude for everyone!

“Very long wait for barely above average food”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

We came on a week night and waited about a half hour for a table. The place was extremely hot inside and with the number of people they fit inside mixed with the heat and one of my friends had to go outside to collect himself. I found the food incredibly over priced and not overly spectacular. The menus are disgustingly dirty and barely hanging on by a thread and the place just felt dirty. Nothing I'd ever do again.

“very good”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

a pleasant surprise passing through portland. the food was good... decided to order the sampler type plates for all three of us which was a little redundant as most of the dishes were quite similar. better value to sample a few and get meat/kabob dishes with rice. the food was great as was the service. will definitely stop in again!

“The best restaurant deal in Portland”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

The plates are huge. You can usually share with another person. And it is amazing, they cook their pita fresh and bring it to you hot. And they have the best falafel I've ever had. It's small (be prepared to wait outside) and not particualry pretty (tacky would be the word), but the food makes this completely obsolete.

“Qué comida tan buena!”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

It's a nice little Restaurant, informal, in downtown Portland. The food is delicious. There are so many options, so many different dishes to choose from. Each one of us oredered something different. I ordered the Vegan Mezza. It has Humus, falafel balls, tabouli salad, mjadra (lentils & jasmine saffron rice), garbanzo plate and tahini. Deliciuos! the lentils and jasmine saffron rice were so good. Everything comes with a big pitta bread. The service is excelent, they are very friendly. ¡¡¡¡Buenísimo!!! ¡Muchas gracias por cocinar comida libanesa tan buena! ¡Felicidades! Congratulations!
