We were expecting to be "wowed" by this restaurant, based on the reviews. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Food was good, but not great. Atmosphere was not intimate, as we thought it might be. It is more like a bistro rather than a romantic french restaurant. The Coquille St Jaques was very good, but entrees were just average. For dessert, the chocolate mousse was good. We would have rather had the chocolate soufle, but we were told they need 24 hours advance notice to prepare it. Wish we would have known that, as our server said it is the best. Our server was fantastic! She had the entire restaurant to take care of, including acting as a hostess to the guests arriving! She really did the best possible under the circumstances.
