It is a French bistro so expect the noise level to be astronomic. The food was ordinary but not downright terrible. Prices were in line. The owner/hostess was quite outgoing and it added to the meal.

It was a low-key Tuesday evening, very few customers. But even when we've been here on busier nights the service has always been exceptional. The waiter had a playful sense of humor, never carried too far. His advice on wine was helpful and our drinks and dishes were served swiftly. What more can you ask? Well, the food has to be good. Our split green salad was light and fresh--the beet salad at a neighboring table looked tasty too. ( Didn't ask for a bite though.) I was skeptical of quail, because the stuffing included a non-favorite of mine, liver, but the waiter urged me to give it a try, and he was right. It was crispy and rich, and I brought home the part I couldn't finish. Sliced duck breast was perfectly done. A skilled chef here, and a casual French atmosphere.

Our party of 10 arrived for dinner early on a Friday evening. This is a nice place but on the small side. Our server seemed to have a little trouble dealing with us as a group - we had to repeat orders twice before he got it. Once that was done the evening passed comfortably. Good wine, tasty appetizers, attractive entrees, awesome desserts.

It's a quality place for smaller parties, but I suggest you go elsewhere if your party is larger than 4.

We came to this restaurant tired and hungry, with no reservations. We were easily accommodated and welcomed. The food was good, especially the cod meuniere, and we appreciated the visit from the chef/owner.

This little French bistro is delightful. The owner, Claude, is authentic, as is his cooking. You can view the kitchen from the bar area; "impec" as the French say (impeccable). We go on a regular basis for the Moules.
