“Just a waste”

I know portland is weird but if anything this should be free. Didnt make any sense.
Save the $5 per person and look at a 3rd grader's bedroom. Same feeling.

“Funky fun stop”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

A fun quirky "museum". A little confusing when you first come in, no so much museum as a play date for adults ( & kids). Bamboo that hums, an artsy video room, books to read, keyboard with yells, yodels and screams. Crayons, kaleidoscope and a great true typewriter. The owner is fun, knowledgeable. Will let you explore or talk all day. Definitely worth a stop.

“Portland Weird, Portland Fun”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

The current exhibit is a throwback to a non-digital age. Wacky and wonderful! We typed on a manual typewriter - memory lane for me, new experience for others. A piano with sound-effects rather than notes. Notes from visitors. Visitors receive prizes. Prized wooly mammoth ant - a must find and a must find it. We enjoyed the experience so much we came back a second day. Tom, the curator, has a delightful sense of humor. Only in Portland - Keep it Weird!

“For those who like the weird and wonderful”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

What a wonderful find in Portland. An interesting collection of collections! I laughed out loud reading notes that were found in libraries, I was grossed out by the beautiful jars of finger nails and I got to play a keyboard of awesome recorded sounds. Then I got to spin a wheel and get a prize. Then I purchases nifty things from the shop. Also while I was there the owner was super decent to someone who needed help and kindness. go go go.

“well, hum, what? why? huh?”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

So this is either the 2013 version of "how to separate a fool and his money" OR a work of conceptual art, OR a way for a retired librarian to meet people from out of town. Not really sure. Not sure it matters.

The displays, well, judge for yourself, but the curator is a very interesting person.
