My husband and I just spent our first day at the races with a couple of really good friends. Overall I'd say we all had a positive experience. We spent our time upstairs in the Turf Club, where they advertise the buffet. We were all disapointed in the buffet based on quality, selection and price combined. If we were to do it again, we would skip the buffet and the Turf Club area all together. A good time can be had in the lower levels with the other food offerings, seating and viewing. Afterall, we were there to play the ponies and drink beer. The laid back atmosphere was an added bonus that helped make for a great day. Kudos to the staff for the friendly faces and helpfulness.
