“A Taste of Italy in Portland”
Reviewed May 26, 2014

Great place for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends. The variety of foods and wine is outstanding. We visited Italy a couple years ago and we love how the food here is authentic, not Americanized like so many other Italian Restaurants. Service was excellent and we really enjoyed the pace at which they brought the food out. They allow enough time for you to enjoy your food and let it settle before bringing out the next course. Make sure you save enough room for dessert because you're in for a real treat and their espresso is outstanding. Plan on about 2 - 2 1/2 hours from start to finish and enjoy the food, service and atmosphere.

“Spend a Leisurely Night in Italy...”
Reviewed May 17, 2014 via mobile

Take the night off and journey to Italy! My spouse and I had an amazing experience. True Italian food, prepared to perfection and well worth the wait. Please, do be patient as everything is made to order. Everyone is friendly, so stick around for some delicious Hazelnut Gelato!

“Real Italian by real Italians”
Reviewed May 10, 2014

We started out our dinner with ordering a $28 bottle of prosecco that lasted us the whole meal, split between my wife and I. It was delicious, and went well with all that we had. We had the antipasto misto (a variety of cured Italian meats, including a tasty mortadella with pistachios, and cheeses, with crostini) ($18), and it was very flavorful. For the primi I ordered a caprese a modo nostro salad that was fresh and traditional ($8), and my wife had a ravioli Salvia di ricotta that was just a little undercooked, but had a great butter and sage sauce. Our adult son had the tortellini Brodo zuppe to start off his special four course meal, with an endive and crab salad and fish main course, that he devoured ($35). My wife then had the Chicken Scaloppina and the Pomodori gratinati (stuffed broiled tomatoes)($6), with the tomatoes standing out. I had the pasta e Fagioli, a Maltagliati cooked with garlic, tomato and cannelloni beans ($14) and the Fagioli al Coccio (cannellini beans cooked with garlic and rosemary) ($5), with the Maltagliati as the highlight. For dessert, my wife had the Affogato, an ice cream and espresso combination that she loved. Our son had the scoops of sweet cream and chocolate gelato. Total $200 for three with tip.

“Best home Italian”
Reviewed April 16, 2014 via mobile

If Chef Davide is there. Ask him to make something not in the Menu. But it has to be when it's slow. Like between noon and dinner rush. Don't tell him I said so. I can live in that place. Great wines. Everything is fresh and from scratch. He doesn't know what chicken Stock is.

“Enjoyable Authentic Italian Meal”
Reviewed December 12, 2013

Went here based on TA reviews and it didn't dissapoint. Expect a liesurely meal as the service is somewhat slow, but friendly. Wine list is very extensive with some good "finds" on it at reasonable pricing.

Would return.
