We did two tours, downtown walking food tour and the best of Portland. The best of Portland was by far the best value. Our guide Adam was great; very informative, good energy and provided a wide array of places for us to visit. Our group was just the perfect size. We loved the cold smoked scallops at Southpark seafood! The portions were ample and we were just full enough at the end of the tour.

Travel by van to different food truck pods throughout Portland. Enjoyed the food at each stop and it was nice to learn some history of Portland along with information about the food trucks. Both of us were stuffed by the end of the Portland Food Carts & Neighborhood Tour. Would highly recommend.

A great way to discover the many neighborhoods of Portland. Adam was a very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide and a good source of information on places to go and places to avoid. Although I agree with another reviewer that the tour was somewhat pricey, by the time it was over, my wife and I weren't hungry for dinner so we saved money by not having to eat out. However, I also agree that if you're a big eater and you don't like some of the offerings, you might leave a little hungry.

We did enjoy the driving tour around the city to learn about the different neighborhoods. The food was varied all the way from a food cart to nice seafood restaurant. Adam was a knowledgeable and energetic tour guide. We felt the tour was overpriced for the value and the food quantity was overall small. We left not quite full having spent about $100/person. We were hoping to explore the neighborhoods more, not have dessert at a place that also had a location downtown (so we ended up at the same ice cream shop (diff location) for the dessert course as we were at in a downtown food tour with another company). We were hoping for a chefs creation of some well crafted dessert for the price--not an ice cream sandwich. Cheese fruit platter portion per person at wine shop included one grape, one blackberry and 3 almonds per person with a square of cheese, although the 5 wine pours were varied and generous. The eliptic brewery was a good choice-3 diff appetizers and two beers-an IPA and a porter. At South Park seafood restaurant, there was only one choice of seafood--smoked scallops, so if you didn't care for those, then you missed out on the first course of the meal.

We had a great time walking through downtown Portland and learning fun tidbits about the city while eating so much yummy food! The amount of stops and amount of food we received were more than I have experienced on other food tours. They did a great job of accommodating us, too, since we are not drinkers. The restaurants prepared some delicious mocktails for us in place of the wine and other beverages. I would highly recommend Eat Adventures!
