Nice varienty on the menu: something for every palate. View of river was fascinating: always something going on. Wait staff attentive; however, at lunch I was served left over breakfast coffee. The waitress made a new pot and did not charge me.

Food was different but good. Small menu but what they have is excellent. We will eat there again. NY strip was excellent.

It has been a family tradition to spend Easter Brunch at the Red Lion for over 30 years. We've been there through many name changes and management changes. I remember in the 80s when there were live chicks and ducks in large cages in the dining area. Over the years the quality has gotten poorer and poorer, which is reflected in the lack of crowd and line.

Slowly but surely items from the menu have disappeared. This year, there wasn't even an Easter Bunny waslking around handing out candy to the kids. The waitress seemed distracted. The blueberry crepes, cheese tray, selection of salads are gone. The dessert has gone down in quality and the prime rib is less than prime. Additionally, the air conditioning was cranked up so high, we all had goosebumps and were chattering our teeth. Very uncomfortable. I'm sad to say that this Easter will be our last. It's such a disappointment because it has been a tradition. However, for the price, I think we'll enjoy our new tradition elsewhere.

Traveling to a new place was very hetic, with detours etc. We were relieved when we didn't have to take the bridge back. The food at the Grill was excellent and the seafood was their specialty. The convience of the Janzen Beach grill was its best feature and we had a great time while we visited their establishment.

Thank John K
