We had a mid 50's, slightly overcast day( Portland late winter , right?) but no rain which was perfect for our first Portland Segway tour. There were 5 of us, with only myself, having been on a Segway before. After a brief but thorough Segway lesson by Tyler, our guide, we were off.
We cruised throughout SW Portland , up into the PSU Park Blocks, up to the Saturday Market and from there down to the river.
By the time we crossed the river , all riders were totally comfortable on their Segways .We rode down the eastside Esplanade ( let 'er rip!!!) and then crossed back into SW Portland on the Morrison Bridge sidewalk. From the Tom McCall park back down the river and back to our starting point.
The 2 hour tour went by in a blink.Everyone had a great time and we were all ready to go it again.
A huge thanks to Tyler for his patience and great guidance.
