After a night out on Alberta Street, we passed by Enzo’s with his new patio out front. We had terrific tiramisus and cannolis along with a bottle of Prosecco. Enzo kept us laughing with his humor and by the end of the dessert we were invited to join him on his Christmas trip to his other home in Puglia, Italy. Ciao baby!

We've been meaning to visit Enzo's, and we're glad we did. The homemade pasta and mozzarella were among the best we've ever had! The wine pours are very generous, and the service was just right -- attentive without going over the top. The restaurant is small, and it can be a bit loud. We ate outside on a summer evening, and it was quieter than inside. Very casual dining in this neighborhood gem.

Enjoyed Saturday afternoon lunch with my daughter who was home from college for spring break. We were walking along NE Alberta when we happened upon Enzo's. The asparagus and cheese frittata and penne pasta with pesto were superb. Serving size more than adequate. Spoke with both Enzo and his waiter who is recently transplanted in Portland from Israel. Delicious meal; comfortable atmosphere. Next time will go for dinner.

This was our second visit and we lingered at the table to extend the evening. Enzo was a wonderful host, from the greeting at the door to the house-made limoncello at the end of the evening. The appetizers were a highlight, especially Enzo's fresh mozzarella. Lovely regional menu.

This was a huge disappointment. If you have been to Italy you you will not come back here. They, for example, managed to overcook the eggs in the carbonara so it was more like a scrambled eggs with pasta and bacon ("pancetta")--and 4 of us had that dish and they were all the same. The prochetta was also a letdown.

On the positive side service was good.

Was it value for money? NO. Was it good? NO. Would I come back? NO. Is there any reason you should eat here? NO. If the pasta was $6 and not $18-24 the answer might be different.
