We arrived with some concerns, based on reading previous reviews. First impressions were not good - the desk area was dingy, and the air in the room was stale. However, once over this, we enjoyed the room and the stay. Leaving the fan on for several hours cleaned the air, the towels were clean, the matress was comfortable, and the room was quiet. Our room faced away from the main road. The staff was helpful, and the cleaning staff kept the room stocked with clean towels, and soap/shampoo during our 6-day stay. The breakfast was adequate, but you need to be there no later than 7 am to ensure a selection; and the exercise room was functional, though it was kept locked unless entry was requested. The microwave and refrigerator in the room were clean and functional.

Overall, we found the motel good value.

This property is your typical 2- or 3-star MOTEL.

The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well overall. The in-room amenities include a refrigerator and small microwave. They also have laundry and exercise rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful with things over which they have control.

This property accommodates charity cases, so expect some loud behavior and possible late-night noise.

There is a lot of cigarette smoking taking place on site, so expect some cigarette smoke to find its way into your non-smoking room.

If you rely on working Internet each and every day of your stay, then stay somewhere else. Staff could only reboot their router; the motel's ISP was dropping the ball hours at a time.

If you want a decent breakfast, then eat out. (Their juice machine, in particular, needs servicing -- very watery juice.)

Otherwise, the shortcomings are typical of older motels: peeling paint, water damage, missing drain stoppers, burn holes in bedding, problematic door-entry card reader.

I do not require luxury, so I rate this property as 'adequate'; yet, I will not return unless I am able to negotiate a room rate at $45 or less per night.

I appreciated the security at the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if I'm in the area.
