“Vegetarian friendly, yummy, inexpensive Mexican and quick service”

We tried the bean burritos and cheese quesadilla and there were other vegetarian options as well. We really enjoyed the food and even ended up going back there a second time during our stay. The food came out in less than 10 minutes and our bill with 2 burritos, chips and salsa and 2 sodas was less than $20. The atmosphere was laid back which is definitely our style. If you are vegetarian and looking for quick and cheap good tasting Mexican food, this is a good choice.

We found the food so so. It was cart food that is now in restaurant form. So many of these places are doing that and frankly, we haven't tried one that we would go to again. Same with Tamale Boy on NE Dekum.

The food is expensive for what you get. Not a veggie in sight. Margarita was bitter. Service was great, though. Very nice people.

This is the grossest Mexican / Hispanic food I have ever encountered. My chicken taco tasted like pumpkin and my husband's burrito tasted like spagettios. The hipster decor seemed to sway lots of patrons, but not me. I think the cook was blindfolded. Or was laughing in the kitchen at all the idiots eating this kind of food. If you want vegetables, you're out of luck. Another masochistic trick played by this cook to keep you this foul concoction in your system as long as possible.

And worth driving from NW to se division. Full bar, good drinks and excellent food. This is now one of our favorite places in Portland. If you're bored and want to try some interesting Mexican fare, check this place out!

I had the lamb mole which had a smoky rich taste and the chicken mole which was lighter. The guacomole was fresh and tasty. Can be crowded on busy weekends and when weather is nice and people sit outside. Popular place for casual dinners with friends or dates.
