Lardo started out as a food truck and morphed into a brick and mortar with lots of outdoor seating.
Placing your order starts with getting in line (usually a long line), getting to the counter, stating food choices and paying. Cashier gives you a number which is used to signify who placed the order.
Food is very good with a decent selection (lots of pork-based items but also beef, chicken, tuna and a few vegetarian offerings). If you have a big appetite or are more than one of you, definitely try the "Dirty Fries". Pretty decent selection of craft brews, a good craft root beer, small selection of refreshing cocktails (on weekends, Bloody Mary's tend to sell out early). Some indoor seating, but when warm, outdoor is the preference.
Understand there are 2 locations, but we only visited the Hawthorne location. Also, if you go to the Hawthorne, there is a "food pod" directly across the street that also has some good selections (the Pryo Pizza is killer).
