Randomly found this on trip advisor and really glad I tried it. We went to 3 local breweries. Pedaled to each one, got about 30 min in each brewery. I would recommend that everyone should try it.

Thank John M

We arrived early and did enjoy a couple of beers at the BrewStop. They were pretty good and reasonably priced, We started a little late waiting for people, so don't worry if you are running behind, they will likely wait for you. Our tour guide was polite, but really didn't spend any time with the group, though the group that we had was plenty fun! We had a full house for the smaller cycle (12 total). You can decide at what rate to peddle so don't worry about getting exhausted. Make sure to bring a good songlist and a phone / ipod as the cycle has an Auxiliary input jack, and the driver asks for a DJ. You pay for your own drinks, but we got happy hour prices at two of the three places.

We stopped at the Lucky Labrador which we loved! (dog friendly area outside!) I recommend the taster flight as you get quite a lot for your money.

Second we stopped at the Lompoc Tavern. This is where the title comes in. Canadians and Foreigners beware! We were REFUSED service. The waitress demanded to see our passports. Valid drivers licences and even birth certificates were not adequate ( I don't understand the need for this ). In the end the waitress did accept our Nexus cards in lieu of passports, but most likely because there was a small revolt brewing in regards to how we were treated. This place really left a bitter taste in our mouth.

Lastly we stopped at the Bridgeport brewpub. This was a very unique place and had a upscale industrial vibe to it.

In the end, We did enjoy this trip and would recommend it. To The brewcycle company, I would recommend the driver hanging out with the group and socializing a bit more. Perhaps talk about history of each place etc. Also, either mention bringing passport for people who book out of country, or sort something out with the Laploc (perhaps remove this stop from the tour)

If you like beer and are looking for a way to knockout a couple of breweries, this is a great way to do it. On a bicycle built for 15, you pedal your way around a small section of Portland at 4 mph, stopping for 30 minutes each at 3 local breweries. Great for two buddies or a large group of friends, boys and girls alike. There are a few seats for non-productive types (i.e. - no pedals), but everyone needs to contribute, and you will get a workout.

This is an absolute must do if visiting Portland and if you like beer! The staff are awesome and so much fun. The breweries were so neat and had terrific beer. The best part of all is that you don't feel guilty for drinking empty calories because you do get a workout on the bike!!! We were fortunate to join another larger group of people and they were hilarious. Honestly the best part of our trip! And you must show up at least a half hour early to try one of the many local beers that they have on tap there!

This is one of the best tourist experiences I've had in a long time. Hell, if I lived in Portland, I might do this every weekend. Despite being a 8-person bicycle roaming on pretty flat roads, the cycling is tough. Maybe they could build a lighter frame... but in the end, it doesn't matter, you're burning the calories from all the beer. We visited 3 pubs in the span of about 3 hours - not the bigger breweries like Rogue or Deschutes but smaller pubs that brew their own and where it wasn't so crowded. The beers were okay (not exceptional) but the experience was more fun.
