This hotel was lovely, clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet and a good value. The room was large and lovely. The location is at the river front and a short walk to some nice restaurants and the river front walkway is great to walk or jog.

The hotel is also dog friendly. It was very quiet which was great. The breakfast which is included daily was fantastic.

This was our first time staying at this property. The breakfast was fantastic and its great for families. Its clean and close to the waterfront and the two bedroom unit was nicely laid out. There are great restaurants within a 5 minute walk and the Portland Streetcar has a stop right next to the hotel!

The Residence Inn is what you would expect from a Residence Inn good and consistent with nice breakfast in the morning. It does not have any special charm though. The location is at the edge of the loop. You can take the street car into the center of downtown. Also close to some restaurants in the marina. Near the bike trail too.

I stayed in a two-bedroom suite with my sister and niece for the Susan Koman Race for the cure in September. It was really easy to get to and was close enough to the race to be able to walk there.
The suite size wasn't too large but more than adequate for our one night there.
The place was clean and smoke free.
The view out the window is over a construction site, but we were there for one night, so it really wasn't an issue for us.
The kitchenette would be great for visitors staying who want to eat in.
My sister and I went down to the pool and jacuzzi and had a relaxing break.
The TVs in the room were a nice size.
And we were in a quiet wing of the hotel.
The breakfast was fresh, with a variety of delicious foods, from eggs and sausage to cereal, yogurt, bagels and muffins.
Staff was friendly, courteous and efficient!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 820, which was a short walking distance from the elevator and very quiet. The view isn't great - looks out over a construction site and highway, but the windows are sound proof.

This was our 1st stay at a Resicence Inn. We were greatly impressed. The hotel in general was quite nice. The staff was all very pleasant and helpful. Our room was quite large and very comfortable with a living, dining, kitchen area and a large bedroom and bath. The complimentary breakfast buffet was very nice, as was the evening social. The location is great - a very short walk to waterfront park, and the Portland Streetcar has a stop a half-block away.
