We only stayed one night in this hotel, wished we had planned stay longer. It really is the best location and our room was fantastic. Large room with huge bed, exceptionally clean and well appointed. Free wifi which works very well. Would definitely return

Overall, I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and would definitely recommend it to others or stay again. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was super helpful. The location was great, with easy access to public transportation and walking distance from several restaurants and shops. Peal District is also only a ten minute walk away. Overall, great experience.

I stayed at the Paramount and Hotel Monaco in Portland. The Paramount was a great value at ~ $200 per night. The room was well appointed, clean and spacious. I had a nice room over looking the park on Taylor St. on the second floor. It was never noisy and had a neat balcony. This hotel is located right in the middle of downtown so everything is close and within walking distance.

The hotel staff was very helpful and even offered advise to save $ on parking. If you are going to leave your car parked (which you can with Portland's great transportation system) use the local parking garages down the street especially on the weekends because they are less than half the cost of the hotel.

Room Tip: Any of the rooms on Taylor street are far from the elevators.

This seems like an upscale high end hotel. The location is within walking distance to all the major shopping and restaurants including the food carts and Vodoo Doughnuts. It's a short walk to the water front park. The staff is very friendly and professional. They even charged my iPhone at the front desk when my battery died. The room had a great view with two windows giving lots of light. It was very clen with a huge granite and marle bathroom with separate shower and a VERY large two person spa tub and high end toiletries. Very quiet rooms. The price was well below the $200 you usually pay for this type of room in that location. Will stay there again.

We were very pleased with the Paramount. Clean, quiet room. All hotels should have such amazingly comfortable beds and great pillows. Very helpful staff and concierge, who recommended neighborhood restaurants and gave directions to Nordstrom, a couple blocks away! The package that includes valet parking and breakfast is a great value. The scones at breakfast were out of this world. Within walking distance to Pioneer Square and Powell's.
