Comfortable stay with nice people. My only issues were two fold. First was needing to change rooms due to the first room not being cleaned. And next, the plumbing seemed to be backed up as the shower did not drain well nor did the sinks. Aside from those the location to public transportation was great and the rooms were nice and quiet. The food was good in there resterant and one can order carryout instead of eat in the resterant. On another note, they were underconstruction by using a jackhamer to get up tile in the lobby during our stay, however it was barly audiable from the rooms and the staff inspire of this inconvenience were still friendly and helpful.

When we arrived at the Radisson, we made a mention to the front desk gentleman that we wanted to go out to dinner at a family restaurant called the Country Buffet. He went beyond his duties and printed out a map for us to get to the restaurant and actually hand delivered it to our hotel room. He also printed out directions to the zoo and had them waiting for us at the front desk the next morning. Our family has stayed in many motels over the years, but this customer service really stuck out. We are planning on coming back next summer when we fly out of Portland as they also offer a shuttle service and a place to store your vehicle when you are away. I can't say enough about the staff. The room itself was very clean and roomy as we were traveling with 3 teenage children. They had a rollaway bed made up as we had also requested. As for my family, customer service can make or break a return to a motel.

From the moment of check in until check out, this hotel continually provided personable and efficient service. The young people at the front desk were well trained but expressed their individuality as well. They asked about needing the restaurant, a wake up call, the shuttle to the airport, sundries, etc., etc. Nothing was missed. Answers were WRITTEN down. At 3 a.m. on departure day, guests were warmly greeted, directed to the HOT coffee and newspaper and advised that the shuttle would be leaving soon. I will defintely return to this hotel and have already recommended the rooms, the restaurant, the business center, the staff to my friends.

Room tip: Don't miss this hotel, an oasis!
