Had a fabulous meal at Portland Prime. I enjoyed the petit filet and it was done perfectly. Nice atmosphere and good wine list. If your in the mood for a nice steak while in the downtown Portland area, I'd definitely recommend Portland Prime. One caution, it's right across the street from Voodoo Donuts!! Weigh your dessert options carefully! LOL!

Portland prime knocked the cover off the ball again. Fine dining and even finer service. Our waiter, Bryan, was fantastic. We had a blast and his recommendations were perfect! You can't go wrong when you choose Portland Prime as your place to dine!

Each family member thought their meals were very good. Two of us had filet mignon, one had crab cakes and one had a salad with salmon. It took a long time for our server to come to the table but she was good and very nice and we weren't in a hurry. The wine selection was extensive and the menu had many different selections. The manager took the time to ask us how our experience was and I thought that was good customer service. I would eat there again if visiting Portland in the future.

When you're in a place as weird as Portland, don't eat somewhere so 1) normal and 2) with poor service.
We only went here because my mom demanded air conditioning (it did have solid A/C).
We had to track down a host for seating, the host then challenged us, and we had to remind our waiter Walter three times for things as basic as please bring my sister a water. In Walter's defense, he made up for incompetence by seeming like he really was happy we came.

I was frustrated that the tab included an 18% tip. I would have only given 15%.

Highlights: lots of salad choices, a kids' menu, and nice decor/ambience that is ideal for treating clients. However, in a place like Portland go to the food trucks.

Little high in price but we were treated we were treated well by the staff.
