“believing christians only”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

unless you are a decided christian, you will find this place pretty corny and since it's a bit out of the way the trip going there is not worth the gas. but if you like naive religious art you are at the right place.

“Being Christian helps to appreciate the theme.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012

I very much enjoyed the grotto sanctuary area. The indoor church is also pleasant to look at. I went for the art but found the constant theme of the crucifixion too much as this theme is repeated over and over and over. OF course, I found out that this the theme of this order! Ok, upstairs is a phenomenal meditation room that overlooks Mt St. Helens in the far distance, beautiful room. Gardens are nice but not comparable to Japanese garden or the rose test garden. The Christmas lights were being put up while we were there and I get the feeling it is quite a sight at Christmas time.

“Very Peaceful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2012

This is a very peaceful place to just walk around and enjoy the natural surroundings and the beautiful statues. Plenty of places to sit and rest and well worth the $4 admission.
