Beautiful park. Off leash park nearby but people bring their dogs into the onleash park without a leash. My dog were charged by other dogs constantly. I won't go back.

Great walking/biking paths and breathtaking morning view of Mt. Hood. The crisp morning air and expansive views of Mt. Hood are the perfect way to start any morning.

Went up the mountain one beautiful evening just before sunset and watched the sun go down over the city. A great place to take some photos and to take in all of Portland.

Very nice park to take walks and get views of Portland. I would have given Mt. Tabor the full five stars except for several reasons. First the Portland Parks is not allocating enough money for maintenance or law enforcement. When they do weed control, they use herbicides and take out native plants as well as weeds. Many dog owners let their dogs run off leash throughout the park although there is a designated area where they can be legally off leash.

We came to this park to see the extinct volcano. It would have been nicer if they had not put benches all around the are, that seemed to take away from the feel of the volcano. If you are a hiker I would imagine the trails here are very nice. The small visitors center was informative.
