From the food carts to the unique booths, this is an attraction not to be missed. It covers about 3 blocks with safe street crossing.

“A Fun Experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2012

This was very fun - some areas were shady and offered relief from the very humid day. Many of the shops/stands sold some of the same things - but there were many unique crafts. I enjoyed how it was open on Sundays as well (only during the summer).

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2012

There were a lot of vendors but most were selling similar things, the area is very shady - there are so many homeless people and people begging on the street. This market is right behind Voodoo Doughnut, Wouldn't waste time coming here again.

“Also a Sunday market”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2012

Have been to the Saturday market each time I have visited Portland (4X)only to find out that it is also offered on Sunday!! Would recommend Sundays as it seemed much less busy than the Saturdays that we had been there. Lots of true craftsman offer their wares, but also the tacky touristy "junk". Something for everyone!

Food carts are a good bet for lunch or a snack!

“Perfect Saturday morning”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2012

We went here on Saturday morning and spent time perusing through the markets. We had lunch off a food truck by the waterfront area. It was a perfect 1/2 of the day! I'm glad we left earlier in the morning (around 9:30) because it got crowded very quickly. If you're a first-timer to the area, try some marionberry ice cream~unbelievable! Marionberry apparently is only grown in this area and I fell in love with the berry.
