Tip: Before you go check their website. There's a deal almost every day.

This a small throwback of an amusement park, which i think it's part of it's charm. Compared to seasonal things like the Bite, it's a great way to save money, since there's also a classic roller skating rink included.

As far as the food, Oaks has a picnic area and no rules against bringing your own.

I know people have said this is a great place for kids, but I think it also makes a great date, if you don't mind being a little nerdy. The mini Golf course has a nice shady spot with a great view when you want some quite time away from the kiddies :-)

This park is not the "Disneyland" but its totally entertaining if you have little ones...Purchasing the day pass for all the rides is your best bet and may save a lot of "greens"...The location is by the Willamette River so you can just set back, relax and eat by the river if you got enough with the rides...During the summer, It may be helpful to check the local papers for discount coupons for the park fees...Bottomline, everyone is a winner after visiting this place...

This is a park that if you have young kids you will enjoy taking them. It is small and old fashion. The spook house ride i fun, cheesy maybe but I love it.
It is set on the Willamette River so you can bring your own lunch or eat corn dogs from the small runway.
They also have an indoor skating rink which is a hoot! Summer time is the right time to ride the farriswheel or animal carosel. I love this place! I must admit I have not been there in a few years so check more recent reviews.

Very few improvements over last 20 years. Small amusement midway.
August has lots of yellow jackets, like most of Oregon. A minor inconvenience for picnics in late August. But not so bad that you shouldn't entertain the kids with the rides.

Oaks park is a good value for the price you pay. The kids enjoy the rides. It could be kept a little cleaner.
