Beautiful place to visit any time but awesome for a special private event. Caterer brings wonderful food and it is so special.

We went to Pittock Mansion on the last day of our visit and we were so glad we did. We love historic house tours and this one did not disappoint! Unfortunately, most of the furniture is not original but it's a miracle that the house is still standing. It was slated for destruction when a group of concerned citizens raised some funds and the city bought it in 1964. One of the best aspects was the panoramic view of Portland and Mount Hood. Make time for this!

Visited on our arrival day in Portland - worth the drive up there. View of Portland and the surrounding area - up north into Washington and of Mt Hood - is amazing :) Grounds beautiful, and a gracious historic building :)

We've visited the Biltmore and the Hearst Castle and the Pittock has some of the best views of the city and Mt. Hood. The mansion would be comfortable and livable...not quite like living in a museum!

Beautifully restored by the City of Portland and the Historical Society.

A Portland gem and shouldn't be missed!

Perched on a hillside above Portland, the views are excellent. The mansion itself is a fascinating journey into the history of a wealthy Portland family during the turn of the century. An excellent educational experience.
