Boy, this wasn't the highest place on my list I wanted to see, but I'm so glad we did it. Some of these roses are amazing in color and depth. If you're not into flowers, it obviously will hold no attraction, but if you do, this place is amazing - spent an hour here when we thought we'd just walk through and kill some time.

Don't miss this fantastic garden - yes - "real" roses can still have a wonderful fragrance - as you will experience here! Also, the neighborhood you drive through to get to the Garden is fantastic too!

You can't visit Portland without going to the International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park. It is a scenic drive getting there. Great photo opportunities. Spectacular colors! A feast for the eyes in summer when roses are in full bloom!

The rose garden is the largest and most impressive of any we have ever seen. It must cover an acre or more, and features thousands of roses, both large and small.

Great stop on a bike tour given by a friend. I am not much of a rose lover, but it was interesting to see and smell the many different varieties. You also get a great view of Portland from the garden.
