Acres of Roses, roses, and more roses all planted in rows for impact of color. Take a picnic or a snack and enjoy the view of Mt. Hood and downtown Portland too,

Even if the thought of looking at thousands of roses doesn't get you excited, you MUST visit the Rose Garden. It is breathtaking, peaceful, and smells amazing!! I visited in early October and there were still plenty of flowers in bloom. I could have spent hours walking around checking out the different roses. One of my favorite stops in Portland.

If you can find a place to park, the Rose Garden is a must for any visitor to Portland during the rose blooming months. There is no admission cost. Plan a picnic and enjoy the sights and smells.

Beautiful roses, all different kinds of roses. Different colors and different smells. They also had a free concert that we sat in the grass and listened to between rose viewing.

This is one of the most beautiful rose gardens I have ever been at. We truly loved it and took many pics. It was such a beautiful sunny day we did not want to leave. We spent about 2 hours walking around and taking pics but could have stayed longer.
