A great place to visit. Right on the Williamette River. Can rent bikes to enjoy the area. There's a cool fountain and grass to play on. Watch the boats on the river.

On a good day a walk along the river is a must do.

It is a beautiful setting for a park--but when used for events--it gets pretty gross and crowded. Parking is expensive AND hard to find.

The marina and grassy hillside overlooking the Willamette River offers the public access to major events such as 4th of July fireworks show, and the annual Waterfront Blues Festival with its three stages and audiences of over 10,000 Portlanders. It's popular to circle the waterfront on its 4 mile-long walking path fronting the river on both sides, crossing two bridges in the process. The McCall Park is also the place to board cruiseships which tour the river, and to view the naval fleet which parks here after coming up the Columbia.
