There is no way I could fault this dining experience. The view was stunning, the service was swift and attentive, the prices were reasonable and the food! My goodness the food. Everything we ordered was interesting and perfectly balanced. It was showy but not overly chefy and rich. The chef had worked hard to bring out all sorts of wonderful flavor combinations instead of the usual assault on the palate of cream/butter/salt that you get in many premium restaurants. The presentation was artful. The decor and mood in the dining room was very restrained and tasteful. The server recommended some good wines. Three of the items we ordered were particularly exquisite: the duck pate with apricots and a home-made biscuit (appetizer), the blackberry pork ribs (main) and the fancy s'more (dessert). I implore you to eat here!
