I visited the newly-opened 'brick & mortar' site after hearing rave reviews from various sources about the sweets made by the owner/baker Kir Jensen. Her goods did not disappoint...in fact, they more than satisfied my sweet tooth! I ordered a fudge-y chocolate sandwich cookie with drip coffee and settled back to enjoy my selection. WOW! The rich taste of the cookie along with the quality coffee (they offer Ristretto Roasters by the press or drip) was a perfect treat. Though I had a hard time deciding between the scones, honey pie, various other cookies, and even savory treats, my triple chocolate cookie was over-the-top good. I sat at the sunny window and noticed the nice details of the place itself: light yellow walls, vintage kitchen decor, warm wood tables...it is very cozy and warm-feeling inside. Even the bathroom has wonderful tile work and carefully chosen accents. Kir was a friendly hostess, as was her associate. I definitely will return to this place. I left with a 1/2 dozen chocolate chip cookies which I served to guests later that night- delicious!
