“Really nice!”
Reviewed May 13, 2009

OK so it isnt the Marriott or even a new Holiday Inn Express, but for the money this was an exceptional value. I spent a total of $62 per night and got a really nice, pleasantly decorated, clean room. I even had shuttle service from the airport. They have just installed new flat screen tv's, and the bed and bath linens are both very clean. The front desk personnel are very friendly and there was ample parking. I would definitely use this hotel again on a return trip.

I've never paid so little and gotten so much. Hotel had free wifi, fridge, microwave newspaper and decent breakfast. Staff was friendly too. On the negative side, some of the rooms were accessed from the outside and our hallway smelled like a college dorm. Overall, very comfortable.

THE GOOD: I chose this hotel because i needed one within waling distance to the MAX line so i could get to the convention center, airport, etc. IT'S A LITTLE BIT OF A WALK TO THE TRAIN BUT, NOT TOO BAD & MAX LINE TAKES YOU EVERYWHERE. THERE IS ALSO FREE WI FI WHICH SOME HOTELS CHARGE $10 OR MORE PER DAY AND FREE HBO.
THE BAD: They did not always come to clean the room. I did not mind the sheets not being changed as they were not dirty but i had to ask for towels a couple of times. My room was on the second floor and extremely noising. not from guests but hotel staff. i don't know if the supply closet was near my room but the workers always congregated outside my hotel door. They were noising from morning till early afternoon
THE UGLY: I GOT TO THE ROOM WHICH WAS NOT A BAD ROOM & OPENED THE CURTAINS TO LET THE RARE SUNNY DAY IN AND MY VIEW WAS THE FRONTYARD OF A VERY MESSY FRONT YARD WITH GARBAGE & JUNK & A DOG THAT WAS OUT THAT BARKED OCCASIONALLY AND A BUSY STREET WHICH WAS NOT NOISY AT NIGHT BUT NOISY DURING THE DAY & THE LOCAL BUS STOP FOR ALL THE STUDENTS. I would probably stay here again but i would ask for a room that does not have the view of that yard and not where the workers hang out.

My husband stayed here with his dad, & brother. They were supposed to have a handicap accessable room. The hotel did not have one so they were put into a suite that wasn't so sweet! They were given double beds instead of queen beds, thus my husband was given a roll-away. Ok, still not so bad, But then the fun begins!! In the bathroom, there was a giant mold spot on the ceiling. They lived with that. The next morning , there were ants crawling on the beds. Also there were ants all over the bathroom. When they came back to the room on the second night, the only toilet paper in the room were 2 nearly empty rolls. We won't be back here again.

After I booked the property, a lady at the optometrists office that I was visiting said it was no good when she was going to stay there 3 years ago and they went somewhere else. I was expecting the worst, but the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was super, and they even packed a sack breakfast on our way out to be shuttled to the airport since we left before 6am (when the breakfast was open). The park and fly package was very economical and I would without a doubt stay there again. I am looking forward to telling the optometrist lady that it has changed for the better since she was there. The only bad thing is there was no pool.....it was snowing outside and the pool was iced over.

  • Liked — its shuttle to the airport and the park and fly package at an affordable price
  • Disliked — pool frozen over

Thank you so much for staying with us. We've been working hard to improve our property since taking it over. Our rooms and public areas have been renovated, ammenities added all while maintaining very competitive prices. And while our pool is outside and seasonal, guests always have complimentary access to a near by health club with an indoor pool and jacuzzi. I'm sorry no one mentioned it during your stay.

Park & Fly packages offer a combination of value and stress relief, perfect the night before you fly out or on your return.

Thank you again and we look forward to hosting you on your next visit!
