The hotel was okay overall but the beds were horrible. I like a firm bed that actually provides support. These beds were too soft and bouncy that every time my husband moved, it shook me awake. The lock to the building was also broken so anyone, those who were not guests of the hotel, could walk into the building. The outside door to the building is set up to only open to those with a room key but it was completely broken so it didn't make me feel that safe. Also, the breakfast room is too small and was super crowded. Did not get a chance to eat with the family there since it would have taken too long to wait. Glad I was only staying one night. Don't think I would have survived two.

Nice room, great price, and the staff was outstanding. This was my second trip to Portland, and second stay. I'll stay there every time I'm in town.

The shuttle was fast and on time. The hotel is more of a motel. The rooms doesn't make you as secure and safe as you'd expect from a hotel. The tv was this old CRT that makes a loud flicking noise when you turn it on or off. Amenities include iron, ironing board, coffee maker, microwave and a mini fridge that wasn't even plugged in. The chair was too bulky for the room and the table. Basically a place to put a shirt or jacket. I didn't check out the fitness room since its not on the same building as my room. The neighborhood seems a bit seedy. There is a 711 right next to the motel so if you need some late night food, it's nice. Breakfast is decent fora motel, donuts, frozen waffles, gravy and biscuits, slice bread, orange juic, apple juice, and coffee. Expected worn bedding and furniture.

Room Tip: Make sure your room is closer to the lobby for easier maneuvering to food and other facilities. You will need to move around outside if it's not.

The GOOD -price, cleanliness, and goodie bag if you leave before breakfast time. The BAD - water damage all over the building, mold and water damage on the falling off wall chair trim next to our door in the hall, bad location in town, and my sheet would not stay on the mattress. The UGLY - waking up the next morning with the mattress showing a stain that I had slept in because the sheet would not stay on. The price was good but NOT worth it at all.
