We picked this hotel and room because of the two person hottub on the balcony. We just came in from the Seattle to Portland bike ride.
Kimpton brags that their hotels are unique, and this one certainly is unique. The room was about $180 and frankly it was very ugly, a red and gold motif.
The bed was too hard. The TV was around the corner from the bed, but the hot tub was very nice.
The best departments were valet parking and Issac the young man who took our bags upstairs.
The attached restaurant is snobby and VERY EXPENSIVE. If you want Italian without an attitude go to Mamma Mia about 3 blocks away. The front desk staff was OK.
They advertise some rooms with a skylight. They were in the floor below us, and we could see the the skylight windows were filthy.
The night before we stayed in a Choice Suites Motel for $60 less and had a much better total visit.
